Privacy policy

This policy explains how CRMlooker (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use crmlooker.com. You can read the site, use our assessment and compare CRMs without giving us any personal information. We don't sell personal information, and analytics cookies load only if you agree.

What we collect

• Server logs: our hosting provider records standard request data (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and reliability.
• Analytics, if you accept: Google Analytics 4 collects usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type and how you use our tools (for example, quiz steps or comparison selections). Google signals and ad personalization are turned off.
• Consultation requests: when you request a consultation we collect what you enter: company, name, work email, phone (optional), team size, industry, current CRM, timeline, CRMs you're considering, your message and your consent choice. We use it to respond and schedule a call, and, only with your permission, to introduce you to vendors you choose to consider. Form submissions are processed by Netlify Forms.
• Assessment answers: the CRM assessment runs in your browser. If you accept analytics, your answers are recorded as anonymous usage events; they aren't linked to your name or email.

Cookies and similar technologies

• Strictly necessary: we store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage.
• Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) load only after you click “Accept analytics.” If you reject, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, they don't load.

Change your choice at any time: Cookie settings.

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.

Links to vendors

Some links to CRM vendors are referral links, so the vendor can tell you came from CRMlooker and may pay us if you sign up. When you click one, the vendor's own privacy policy applies on their site.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that run the site for us (Netlify for hosting and form processing; Google for analytics if you consent, and for fonts) or when required by law. We don't sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Retention

Analytics data is kept for 14 months under our Google Analytics settings. Consultation requests are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Server logs are kept according to our hosting provider's standard retention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out. Email privacy@crmlooker.com to make a request.

Children

The site is for businesses and isn't directed to children under 16.
